Distressed

This fortnights challenge over on the anything goes challenge blog is Distressed. Mine certainly is distressed!!. I used old book pages for the background and applied Petroleum jelly as a resist and then painted with old paper Distress crackle paint. The flowers are old book pages again cut with T!ms tattered florals die my new favourite as its so versatile, highlighted with mica powders. The leaves are a paper artsy stamp which I stamped then cut out and distressed with rock candy stickles. Everything used is from Craft Den. Hope you can join us.

Sandra's Birthday

It was Sandra's Birthday on Thursday, hope you had a lovely day Sandra. This is the twisted easel card that I made for her. I used a LOTV stamp that I bought from the NEC last year, and coloured it with promarkers. Oh no I think I am liking stamping and colouring now!! I made another spiral flower to support the easel. Anything goes Sketch challenge

this is the card I made for the anything goes sketch challenge this fortnight. I used Bo bunny sugar dot paper for the background. Embossed black coredinations paper in a cuttlebug folder and sanded to reveal the pattern. I cut a spiral out of paper and curled to make the flower. The image is coloured with copics.
