Die Cuts

This time over at anything goes the challenge is Die Cuts. I have made a gift box using T!m Holtz Dies, I cut two shapes from chipboard with the sizzix Baroque die and covered them with Graphic 45 paper, made a 4" square box and decorated with the tattered floral die cut from tissue paper. Distressed

This fortnights challenge over on the anything goes challenge blog is Distressed. Mine certainly is distressed!!. I used old book pages for the background and applied Petroleum jelly as a resist and then painted with old paper Distress crackle paint. The flowers are old book pages again cut with T!ms tattered florals die my new favourite as its so versatile, highlighted with mica powders. The leaves are a paper artsy stamp which I stamped then cut out and distressed with rock candy stickles. Everything used is from Craft Den. Hope you can join us.

Sandra's Birthday

It was Sandra's Birthday on Thursday, hope you had a lovely day Sandra. This is the twisted easel card that I made for her. I used a LOTV stamp that I bought from the NEC last year, and coloured it with promarkers. Oh no I think I am liking stamping and colouring now!! I made another spiral flower to support the easel. Anything goes Sketch challenge

this is the card I made for the anything goes sketch challenge this fortnight. I used Bo bunny sugar dot paper for the background. Embossed black coredinations paper in a cuttlebug folder and sanded to reveal the pattern. I cut a spiral out of paper and curled to make the flower. The image is coloured with copics. Butterflies

This is my entry for the Anything goes Challenge blog a mini canvas.I inked the canvas with Victorian Velvet & Spun Sugar distress ink, then stamped Crafty Individual Butterfly and Script stamps with versamark and dusted it with mica powder. One of the embelishnments is a dominoe piece that I alcohol inked and triple embossed. The metal butterfly is from a Primark necklace that I bought just for craft. Had a couple of days off work last week so managed to do a bit of crafting. When I was clearing out the kids clutter after Christmas I came across some little board books approx 3 inch square. I thought they would make cute mini books, so they have now become part of my clutter!! I have filled this one with snow pictures seem to have rather a lot of those lately!! painted the book with a silver dabber and then used dcwv The Sweet mat stack for the cover and magnolia ink Vintage Christmas paper inside.
